Why should I stay?
The main focal point of what I’ll be covering as you traverse this blog, will include changes to operators and their weapons, map reworks, along with the occasional coverage of a new season or year that brings new challenges and shifts in the Meta. I hope you decide to end up staying for a little while to check out the many different interviews along with the featured podcast that promotes the different ways in which siege players experience the game.
What is Rainbow 6 Siege?
Odds are — that if you’re already here you probably know how the game of siege works. But, for those of you that don’t. Siege, simply put, is a 5 versus 5 tactical shooter that has 3 different game modes (secure area, bomb, and extraction). While I won’t go into grave detail here, I will give a short synopsis of what it is. The road to victory is accomplished through a couple of different ways. Of course, eliminating all of the other enemy players while your team is alive wins you 1 round. Depending on the game mode (Ranked, Casual, and Unranked) you will need to win roughly 3-5 rounds to achieve victory. Each game mode provides its own challenge in how you are able to maneuver across the map and go about strategically planning your approach. Given these general details you then will either plant or defuse the bomb, capture or protect the hostage, and finally, secure the area where the specified package is. Now that you have been given a short rundown of how the game works, I hope you enjoy playing it half as much as I enjoy writing about it!
Opinions Matter
A big part of what I aim to do is to create meaningful content that will allow other players to see the difference in how others participate in the realm of R6. I try to achieve this goal by ensuring I bring on different guests within the community that range from the biggest of “noobs” (including myself) to some of the more elite players that are your high plat and diamond ranked players. Not only gathering tips and tricks, but listening to how they feel about the current state of the game, as well as seeing how they interact with it.

In all honesty, when I first decided to create my blog I was unsure of whether or not I should focus specifically on one game, or if I should’ve tried to navigate through the different communities of Fortnite and Call of Duty as well. Given the challenge that was presented, I figured it would be best to try and solely focus on one game that wasn’t too popular, but also a game that isn’t considered a “dying game”. Siege fit perfectly in the middle at a happy medium. From there on I felt pretty content with the subject I had decided to cover, and because of this I was able to incrementally boost my knowledge concerning the game.
Pictured to the left of the text is my personal set up. I figured this would help you grasp where I am at in my personal gaming career. While it appears to be a quite simplistic set up, naturally it is a very powerful and performance driven construct. It has taken me a good amount of time to get where I am currently at, but I am very happy with how things look and perform for gaming and daily tasks.
